It depends on the extent of the damage and the age of the radiator. It may be more cost effective to fix a damaged radiator rather than replace it. We offer free estimates and pressure checks.

Yes. We have new radiators in stock and can install new radiators the same day in some cases. We partner with providers to get you the best price on a new radiator. 

Typically 7-8 years, but this will depend heavily on usage. Radiators built with copper or brass tend to last longer. Copper/brass radiators are cheaper to fix but are more expensive up front than plastic.

Many times it is. Road debris can cause a hole that is easy for a professional to find and fix.

We offer same day estimates and appointments. 80% of the radiator repair work can be done same day. This is especially true for newer cars (2000 and newer). Changing a full copper or brass core can take up to 4 business days as they are custom made.

Yes, the radiator fan cools the AC condenser which is in front of the radiator.

A clogged radiator will not allow fluid to pass down the radiator. This initiates a chain reaction which will not transfer heat to the fins. Which will in turn not remove heat from the engine. The engine will boil and potentially blow causing it to be destroyed. 

Turn on your car for a few minutes to allow it to get to operational temperature. Turn the AC on blast and listen for the fan. Come by our shop to have Tom take a look!

Always error on the side of caution. Be sure to watch temperature changes. You do not want to overheat your vehicle and potentially ruin your engine. Get to our shop ASAP.

We place rubber plugs on the radiator and dip it in water to locate leaks.

 A standard radiator installation usually takes between 2-4 hours, depending on factors like the size of the radiator, the complexity of your heating system, and whether any additional pipework is required. However, a full central heating system installation with multiple radiators can take 1-3 days.
